If you drive on the idyllic forest road you will find that a calm and peaceful accommodation awaits you, equipped with private bridge, boat, whirlpool, wood burning sauna and in a scenic environment just next to the water.
Here you will find peace and relaxation although still close to the city.
The holiday home is a fine timber house build in 1966 and was renovated during 2012.
There will always be sun on any of the three patios and the large lawn (12 000sqm), so there is plenty of room for play, games or different outdoor activities. On the patio facing south you will find a whirlpool where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful lake view, or you can start the grill and have a good meal while you smell the many smells of the nature.
The decoration of the holiday home is inspired of the marine, especially in the larger bedroom where there is a round window just like in a ship cabin. In the living room there is an open fireplace where you can gather around in the evening, the holiday home is personal and has a modern furnished.
And beyond the normal equipment in the kitchen there is a wood burning stove.
Located down by the beach there is a 12 foot rowing boat docked at the bridge, where you can row out and fish or just relax.
The holiday home is situated in an idyllic and scenic area in Närke, which is an excellent starting point to discover the countryside either by car or bike. For those who are interested in golf, there is one of Sweden’s most beautiful 18-hole courses in Åmmeberg (17km away) and where you also can find a tennis court. For those who like to be out in the nature, are there several excellent hiking and biking trails nearby, including the old railway embankment. The possibilities for fishing in the nearby lake Vättern are good and the pike-perch is a delicacy.
The nearest town is the picturesque city of Askersund where you will find all necessary services. A few mils to the south, you have the classic Radio City Motala, where you can find a radio and motor museum. There are also opportunities for boat trips on the Göta Canal which is the biggest canal in Sweden

Area:

The word Närke is originally the uniting of two words which mean the border district by the lake. The area is a flat landscape next to Begslagen in the north, Hjälmaren to the east and Tiveden and Tylöskog in the south. The lakes Unden, Viken and Skagerne are in the area of Tiveden. The lake Viken is crossed by the Göta Canal. In this area, you will also find Finnerödja which is famous for its strawberries.
Närke offers manifold art and design, exciting fifty-inspired architecture, paintings by Carl Larsson and sculpture parks. Furthermore it is possible to come across unexpected experiences such as the Kinaparken outside of Askersund, a Buddhistic peace monument in Fellingsbrotrakten and the largest collection of VW bubbles in the world in Pålsboda.
The biggest city of Närke is Örebro which has a lot to offer. You might go visiting Örebro Castle, where there is a theatre in the summer. You could also take a round trip at the open air museum of Wadköping near Svartån in the centre of Örebro. Here it is also possible to visit Cajsa Warg’s childhood home and see Hjalmar Bergman’s book collection. Furthermore there are a lot of activities for children.
Närke offers innumerable interesting places to visit, for instance the water park, Gustavsvik, Stora Holmen, Barnens ö, Teknoteket Insikten which is an experimental workshop in Karlslund, the bird lake Tysslingen, Tivedens national park, the boat museum in Askerud, the open air museum in Wadköping and much more.
