This peaceful and bright holiday home is situated amidst the olive trees on a hill that overlooks the Arno Valley with broad, beautiful views of the vineyards and the small town of Mercatale, situated below and just 1,2 km away.The house is charming, and served as a hayloft back in the day. Since, it has been successfully converted into a lovely two bedroom, two bathroom house sleeping up to five guests. The house has been simply furnished.The house is et on large grounds (3000 m2) with olive trees and a pretty swimming pool with sun terrace and barbecue, in front of the main entrance. Some suggestions for your daytrips: Montevarchi (important town of the Arno Valley with all kinds of shops and railway station (connections to Florence and Rome) 7 km, 35 km Arezzo, famous for its old city centre, rich in imposing and ancient buildings, where once a month a famous antiques market is held, 35 km the Chianti Classico area, 45 km from the house is Siena, with its shell-shaped Piazza del Campo.Please note: Access to the house is via 400m gravel road.
