The small village of Pisticci, called “the white towns” due to its white houses with red roofs, is on a hill surrounded by the Calanchi Lucani, huge clay loops, which give the whole area a lunar landscape, a real jewel to admire, but also the ideal place to walk to discover hidden corners, such as the "Terrazzo del melograno", a small square characterized by arches and splendid murals, depicting the flowers and the pomegranate fruits, enjoying a marvelous panoramic view over the whole valley to the coast. The house, which is surrounded by a large fenced garden, is on several floors. On the ground floor: living room - kitchen with fireplace, two bedrooms and a bathroom. On the first floor: two bedrooms and a bathroom, one of which (bedroom 3) has a maximum height of 1.80 m. From here you have access to a sun terrace with a splendid sea view. A small cellar with kitchen, barbecue and wood-burning oven is perfect to prepare lunch for outdoor dining. Adjacent to the house is an annex with a bedroom and a bathroom. In 15 minutes by car you reach the Ionian coast with its golden sandy beaches, shallow waters and crystal clear sea, where there are also restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Its position offers numerous tourist attractions: at about 53 Km is Matera with its "Sassi", a UNESCO world heritage site and the European Capital of Culture 2019, while on the coast you can visit the archaeological park of the ancient Greek city of Metapontum, with the "Palatine Tables" and other temples dedicated to Athena, Apollo and Aphrodite.
